INTERNAZIONALE
Language Policy
All outgoing students of ITS A. Cuccovillo will have followed, General and/or Business or Technical English courses and all incoming students are encouraged to take an Italian course during their experience abroad. There are no fees for these courses. The language level test is based on students’ certificates or via the European Union’s Online Language Support Assessment (OLS) test. This test shows the level of the students at the end of the procedure.
The institute will oversee an intensive Italian language course for incoming students. Students will be encouraged to take an Italian and English course for a semester or a year, depending on the length of their stay. Intensive courses will take place during the school’s orientation weeks, i.e. at the beginning of their Erasmus period.
After the intensive course, students will be encouraged to take the Italian courses at their current level. Students who did not join the intensive course during orientation week will also be able to participate in these classes. Additional support will be available for students who have problems with the Italian language.
Another initiative in which incoming students can be involved is that of the ITS Tech-English Summer Campus.
